   Hmm, the fact that your responses really have no back up or reason, I dunno, I’ve never watched this anime but I guess if everyone died, the show would be pretty boring.

   And.. I don’t understand why not to watch it if there is no other response besides it’s ‘bad’.

    Let me give you a more in-depth reason as to why people do not like this anime.

    #1. After the 100th-ish episode the fillers ended. And because that happened the people who write Naruto were able to advance the plot. And because this happened the only thing that would make it more exciting is one of two things.
    a. The thought process of the anime Naruto would have to become -far!- more complex, I.E. Ninja’s who completely use strategies to win battles/fights.
    b. The easier idea, make it like another Dragon Ball Z series where the main character and the others around them would become increasingly powerful through the progression of the series and fight an equally powerful villain(s) to make the series more entertaining.
    Now now, I am not saying it’s like DBZ, just continue reading rather than assuming something and looking dumb. thanks.

    The reason they didn’t choose reason a. is because some people in the real world are…well… less adequate with their thought process and catching things on. Not to mention the writers having to bust their butt for days on end just to create one fight and waste time and money.

    With that aside, the series is indeed a lot different from DBZ. For instance, the main character is a growing kid, ‘Naruto had a poor past which makes you want to sympathize with him. Along with Gaara, another character in the series which has a very similar past to Naruto’s. They are “”Ninja’s”" with special abilities called Jitsu’s. Each person has a different type of Jitsu. And this is the main difference because in the DBZ series is that in DBZ, each character has the same type of power, just stronger and variant versions of energy. So these Jitsu’s not only allow advancement but also a twist as well as strategy.

    Oh and by the way…
    I like Naruto
    So if you think that I am telling you why I hate it, you’re wrong.
    And yes, I also like Dragon Ball Z.

    -tired to watch this kind of anime and when you see how many are the episode of Naruto, the author of this anime is making his anime expanding and elaborating the story so other anime lover get tired watching this kind of show. im saying this beacuse i did not know the whole story but i watch some episode so sorry to the other people who loved so much Naruro.^_^

    It’s not bad. People who say it’s bad fail to grasp the fact that it’s a TV series meant to entertain. It’s not an in-depth production with intricate plots and impressive CG animation all the time. Also since it’s a TV series targeted towards young people (take note of the moral values present), it may not satisfy the “Adult” taste =_=.
    Simply put it: it’s an entertaining anime and it’s something worth watching if you have the time. ^_^

    it is very immature, if they could raise the maturity bar a little bit a lot higher it would be better.
    filler….nuff said the show has simply to much filler.
    tends to be repetitive, characters seem to only know a couple tricks when fighting, unless its a big fight in which they pull out all the stops (remembers sasuke and narutos last fight at the valley of the end)
    yes it is long however if you are like me and have watched it since day one then its not like its anything new (bleach, case closed any of these ring a bell)
    i wish the fights were a lot more thought out more strategical then again that mashes with the characters personality. naruto does think and uses some form of strategy when fighting hes just more straight forward. the way they have it now isnt wrong just the whole theme of fights is getting kind of old. fight-get your ass kicked-win
    good things about the show
    its long, the more time with characters the better in my opinion (now if only they could figure out a way to do that without all the crap filler)
    Jutsu are interesting and all the characters specialize in different ones (everyone can learn the same jutsus(except a select few special techniques), so it is like dbz. there are only a few characters that have special chakra) so things tend to stay fairly unique.

    now keep in mind i myself am a naru-tard i love the show but if they could fix some of its flaws i think it could only be that much better

    (which i heard they did…in shippuden)

    oh one more thing i would love it oh so much if Naruto knew how to fight better. it seems to me compared to everyone else his fighting style sucks. if he could learn some kind of way to make it better or learn a new one, maybe he wouldn’t have to rely on the fox because someones to strong for him.

    Naruto isnt the best of animes,but i wouldnt say its the worst of them all.
    The main problems that i have with this anime are the annoying fillers (flashbacks about events that happened few moments ago and have been used many times before) and the usual sakura chanting of sasuke kun! sasuke kun! or however you put it, other than that its pretty decent anime..

    At first I hated this show. Then Zobuza or how’ever you spelled it was introuced. Then I watched to see my new Favorite Charicter. Then he’s gone….really annoying. TenTen becomes new favorite. Then you barely ever see her. The the flood of fillers move in for the kill. I like long Anime but this stream of fillers and favorite charicters dissapearing have forced my hand. I hate this show even more then I did Originaly.

    Naruto is not bad but most of the times it’s really annoying. Like many others said, there are many flashbacks repeating the same events happened in previous episodes or in the past again and again. The dialogs are almost the same in each episode.. everyone is thinking of the past, they apologize, they get angry exactly in the same way they did in the previous episode etc etc. In addition, i havent seen a single battle lasting no less than 2-3 episodes. I remember the battle the 3rd hokage vs orochimaru.. lasted about 8-9 episodes or something like that. If you remove the beginning and ending scenes, the repetitions, the flashbacks etc from each episode, you’ll end up with 10 minutes pure “non-original” scenes.

    Personally I seek something more from an anime rather than “ohh flashback again..lemmie fast-forward it”.

    but as the story began to progress… well let’s say it had a major change…..

    There are Fillers…. Yes…. Yes…. Fillers all the time…. but you gotta admit it does kill time and if your patient enough to watch through the 100+ episodes…. You’ll probably learn to appreciate the Fillers…. somehow…..

    I don’t think Naruto sucks for that matter…….
    And as i experienced starting Naruto as a topic in the some chatbox will cause some people to say: THAT YOU FAIL MISERABLY FOR EVEN MENTIONING THE WORD…….

    Naruto would have been a great show but it seems….. that it revolves too much Around Naruto getting SASUKE BACK TO KONOHA…..

    (its sorta and kinda gay if you ask me… -_-)

    I mean what the hell would Naruto do if he does catch Sasuke? Lecture him and make him a good boy again?

    everybody knows Naruto will beat the bad guy with a differently colored or semi-larger versions Of his Rasengan…..

    Since Naruto Shippuden shows how they’ve grown…. nothing hardly change in the plot

    except from the lengthened Akatsuki Invasions…….

    Anyway if your gonna watch this………. then watch it…….
