Greetings!

I apologize for not being too active lately. As you may know, AnimeSeed took a huge blow when Mega Video was shut down by the government. A lot of the videos in our database were hosted on Mega Video, as well as some of our downloads. We've always been low on staff members, and lack the manpower to correct the many things wrong with the site. However, the AnimeSeed team is doing their best to bring back the quality of service you've once received.

Since the frontpage hasn't been updated for a while, I've decided to turn it into an Anime/Gaming/Opinion article feed. Our editors will work hard to bring you the latest in the Anime/Gaming industry as well as try to keep you up to date on site happenings. This system may or may not remain depending on how the site progresses.

If you'd like to be an editor for us, please contact me through any mean necessary. You may use PM or IRC as a first resort. The rest of my contact information can be found in the contacts page.

For those that live under a rock, MegaVideo/Upload servers were taken down by the FBI. This is a huge problem for all streaming and download sites that use those sources.

Thankfully, we have moderators around in Chatango and the forums whom are willing to add an alternative source until MegaUpload/Video sources get back up on their feet. Just ask politely in the chat or forums and a moderator will get around to it. Make sure to specify which series you're watching and which episodes do not have MegaVideo alternatives so we can quickly add the links.

It's times like these when everyone needs to be strong and patient. We must face this problem head-on and obliterate it. We thank you for sticking it out with us and we will also stick out this issue until it disappears. Thanks for your support.

Riotblade want's to advertise this site but lacks the banners to do so! That's why he's asking the community for help. There are many talented artists who are not being recognized enough. You guys should take that talent and transform it into RAAAIIINNNBOOOWS.

As always we are still recruiting Streaming Moderators as well so do not be deterred.

We are now hiring Download Moderators that upload anime onto file hosting sites (ex. Megaupload, Fileserve, Hotfile) and link it to AnimeSeed.

A Seed Manager is a moderator of AnimeSeed dedicated to helping the visitors by fixing broken links to anime episodes and adding new anime or episodes not currently on the website. They review the links submitted and quality test them. They may also upload anime and add it to AnimeSeed.

The requirements to become a Seed Manager are as follows:
-Having at least some anime knowledge
-Active at least 7 hours a week or enough to do at least a few links a day
-Patience
-An application (things to include are below)
--State why you want to work for AnimeSeed
--Current age
--Type of...
