Description
Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and cigarettes. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. The two begin hanging out and slowly, as time goes by, Tomoya finds his life shifting in a new direction.

Hilarious the jokes he plays on people are unbelievably funny
“If you watch it, you will cry.” This is one of Key’s newer visual novels brought to anime. Kyoto Animations (Also known for Kanon 06, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzamiya, and Lucky Star) is back again to deliver another winner. This anime is awesome. I’d put it on my top 5 list of best harems ever. A warning to those easily moved or actually hardly moved as well. You will cry. Sob. Openly. And it might not be just once either, in fact you will find yourself crying much more than that. Don’t get me wrong it’s an awesome anime with a solid plot but it’s very depressing and it just pulls at your heartstrings. This is a MUST watch. Also there is suppose to be a second season called “Clannad After Story” airing sometime this year so don’t think it ends here. There is a Clannad movie as well but I suggest staying away from it since it might spoil what the second season might be about.

Nice and spicy

The #1 anime on my list right now. I tend to be a bit emotionless, but this anime really affected me. I laughed at the antics of the characters during some episodes and cried at the heartbreaking sadness in others (or happy/sad moments that make you cry but want to smile at the same time, can’t say I’ve had that sensation before this anime). I came to love the characters and I simply could not stop watching. An amazing anime that you simply have to watch if you care anything about a character driven plot. Plus, the animation is some of the best I have ever seen in an anime.
