Duo, a Net-Navi from outer-space, appears on earth one day and deems the planet too dangerous to be allowed to exist. Covering the world in a digital field, Duo is able to summon viruses and monsters to attack the citizens of earth. Net, Rockman, and other Net-Battlers are the only thing standing in the way of Duo’s goal.
