It's my first review so don't expect much from it :S

Plot Analysis

If you want some passionate, high school romance, I suggest you look elsewhere. This series was designed to destroy any form of innocence that you may have thought about love.

The series starts with Makoto, the average retard, havin' a crush w/ Kotonoha; a girl he only saw on the train ride to school. Makoto's friend, Sekai becomes friends w/ her and the brings Makoto and Kotonoha together in a romantic lunch outing on the school rooftop; it's love at first sight, or something like that.Their relationship gets rough from time to time, so they rely Sekai to be the moderator. A love triange begins to form when Sekai falls Makoto, and as the two spend time together trying to council his relationship with Kotonoha...stuff happens.

It'd be best to warn you that the series gets a lil' ecchi as the plot thickens. None of the events that transpire in the series are meant to be pleasant in any form, and by the time you finish it

should be clear that this series is far from romantic.

The series wasn't rushed and filled every detail to the plot. The only downside to this series is, the emotions conveyed at the last episode may have been a bit too strong for some people to handle.

Voicing/Audio

The voice actors were flawless in capturing the emotions that were bein' brought out from the charactors. The background music fit perfectly w/ the mood and theme of the series. I also found the lyrics of the opening to be perfect for summing up the conflicts that occured throughout the series.

Makoto is ,by far, the most hated charactor, in the entire series. It's clearly pointed out that just about every girl wants him, yet he's portraited as bastard who bases his feelings with his sexual desires. The majority of the conflicts occuring are based on his ill thought decisions.
I won't talk much about Kotonoha or Sekai as it'd involve spoilers.The only word that comes to mind when I think about the both them:

No equations were done to calculate the 'Overall' rating. I simply based it on my personal opinion. I felt this series had some really strong emotions and can easily affect the weak hearted. The ending might not have the one some people were lookin' for but, it's feasible. If you, somehow, enjoyed this anime series then I'd also reccomend you watch Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. They both carry an element of tragedy and involve a love triangle between friends. If your into watchin' others in pain, have a SM fettish or just want a reason to cry then this series should satisfy those needs.
Now, if you'll excuse me, Imma find myself a spot where the sun don't shine and cut my wrist till I bleed myself dry.

Totally agree with what you say in this review. HOWEVER, I do NOT agree with your scores. 3/5 at the most. ****ed up does not equal good. Therefore this anime can NOT be considered good in any way, shape or form. It was decent in the fact that i wasn't drawn poorly and that the plot had clear and interesting twists

MAKOTO GOT PWNT!!!!!

As far as the ending went, I was rather impressed. I found a small bit of satisfaction with how it turned out but I also found that i hated myself for watching the dang thing. A decent and un-foreseen ending doesn't make up for the director making me want to shank a ho for the first 10 episode.

your review was well done in my opinion. Go do some more so i can read your opinion on some other anime!!!

I must've experienced just about every symptom you mentioned. It's been over 12 hours since I finished watchin' the series and I still get it outta my head.

Apparently, there's two OVA's:
School Days: Valentine Days
School Days: Magical Heart Kokoro-chan
I think I'll go ahead and watch 'em

I feel sooooooooo much better after watchin' em.
Just thought I'd warn you that School Days: Magical Heart Kokoro-chan is really ecchi and is a bit graphical.
