Any old cartoons fans here?

Hi everybody ,
I mean like Thundercats, Voltron, the OLD transformers, not the new ones. And shows like that. Some of the shows though like Voltron, were on before I was born. I'm a 90's girl of course, but I appreciate the classics. And no I don't think Sailor Moon counts.

So which old cartoons do you like? and
Do you wish they would show now or more often?

this isnt a big deal or anything but when i tried to look up i my me strawberry eggs on the search on the home page it said its not found... but you do have it under strawberry eggs
i was lucky i thought to try it under that name

i was just wondering.. for something like that.. the only difference was i my me but it still didnt pick up on the strawberry eggs... is there a way that for something that insignificant for it to still show you a list of anime with names close to what you typed in?

if not or whatever.. just letting you know that at first i thought you may of just not had that anime and if i didnt dig deeper i wouldnt of gotten to watch it (at least on here..)

yuri/ shojo ai

where are the lines?
i have two line questions
one.. where is the line between calling it a yuri or a shojo ai?
some say shojo ai is when there are only little hints of a girl likeing another girl but no kissing or relationship and that at the first signs of a relationship and kissing its yuri

some say light kissing and some dateing and such is shojo ai but a full relationship is yuri

some say anything yuri is a sexual relationship... anything with two girls being together without sex is is shojo ai

can anyone clear that up?... ive read so many diffrent opinions of it... is there even a right answer or is it just how you look at it?

also... some things ive watched that i have found on yuri/ shojo ai lists also confuse me
mostly gender benders

yes i realize the girl likes the teacher that is dressed as a girl... but heres the thing... HE IS A GUY... i dont care if he looks like a girl there... he also acted maleish while dressed as a woman and the girl only liked him as a girl... i would understand if she liked girls in general.. but it was just him... and no other signs of love between females is in this show ( i mean side characters and such) so this.. i do not lable as yuri/shojo ai

yet something like kashimashi girl meets girl i do think can be labled under yuri/ shojo ai because

the boy turns into a full female.. with all the female bits and such... and there is also signs of love between two other females (just hints)

but then if i let kashimashi off the hook what about the animes that the person changes back and forth from woman to man?

this is my first time joining an anime forum and it seems a bit different than i am used to

i have been watching anime on anime seed for probably over 6 months now but i just decided to join the forum

i enjoy many diffrent types of anime.. and i first started watching the undubbed stuff when i was 12 learned from an older friend in school

i ended up passing it on to others... one of which is way more obsessed than i am

I have been using the site for some time and figured that it was probably about time that I introduced myself. I am a masters, hopefully soon to be phd, student in mechanical engineering and in my free time I usually game and watch a fair amount of anime. I really like this site and have found it to be by far the most dependable. Anyways nice to be a part of the site, see you all around.

Rules are simple, if it's your turn, you start by posting the first letter of your game. If no one can guess it, you can reveal the next letter. If not, then keep adding letters until you run out of 'em. Any game counts, as long as it's a game. If the name has multiple words, the guessers can guess multiple words, like Tales of the Abyss. If they know 'of the', they can go ahead and say 'Tales of the ...', and it counts. They don't get to go, however, since they haven't guessed the entire name.

Whoever gets the name continues to do the same. Easy ? I'll start.

simple gundam question

hey all, new to anime seed :P.

i recently bought the xbox 360 game 'dynasty warriors: Gundam' very cheaply. im really enjoying it, and its inspired me to watch some gundam :)

but, i dont know where to start.

ive check on wiki (our realiable source of information for everything *cough*) and there are loads of tv series and films.

i want to watch gundam from the beginning. so, which gundam series do you think i should watch first? and are there any gundam series i should avoid? (if any)

So I was wondering if that was on purpose or you will be adding it in the near future ?..

Leonid Meteor Shower

Just thought I should give everyone who lives in North America and Asia a heads up... tonight.. well technically tomorrow between 1 AM and Dawn you may be able to witness the Leonid Meteor Shower. The higher your elevation and the farther away you are from City Lights the better :D
